Dunedin is something of an undiscovered gem; its distinctive architecture and herritage owes much to tis original Scottish settles - its name is the Gaelic translation of Edinburgh. The city is home to a large student population and on the doorstep lies the beautiful Otago Peninsula, dotted with unique wildlife reserves protecting yellow-eyed penguins and royal albatrosses.
